Jesus vs Satan
Jesus and Satan have an argument as to who is the better programmer. This goes on for a few hours until they agree to hold a contest with God as the judge.
They set themselves before their computers and begin. They type furiously for several hours, lines of code streaming up the screen.
Seconds before the end, a bolt of lightning struck taking out the electricity. Moments later, the power is restored, and God announces that the contest is over. He asks Satan to show what he has come up with.
Satan is visibly upset, and cries, “I have nothing! I lost it all when the power went out.”
“Very well, then,” says God, “let us see if Jesus fared any better.”
Jesus enters a command, and the screen comes to life in vivid display, the voices of an angelic choir pour forth from the speakers.
Satan is astonished. He stutters, “But how?! I lost everything, yet
Jesus’ program is intact! How did he do it?!”
God chuckles, “Jesus saves.”

O Praise Him
Published June 13, 2007 Christian , Church , David Crowder , God , Music , Passion , Video , Worship 0 CommentsI was reading 1 Kings and about times when King Solomon would be on his knees with his hands raised to the heavens just praying and singing out to God. I watched this video to Davids classic song “O Praise Him” and it made me realize thats how we should be. Not distracted by others around us but focused on worshiping God no matter what the circumstances. Pretty sweet video…watch it :)

Music News-Part 2
Published June 5, 2007 Christian , Church , God , Music , Passion , Random , Worship 0 CommentsI wish there was one site that provided everything you wanted to know about Christian music! Everything out there is so scattered and out of date…
Keep your eye on these artist…
Steve Fee
His newest album “Burn for You” is a top seller on Independent Bands.com. He’s on tour so check his site.
Kristian Stanfill
This guy is one of my favorite worship leaders. He is still yet to update his site or add any songs to his myspace. I really like the song Beautiful Jesus off his new EP entitled “Hello”. Hopefully he will release more soon…
Tim Hughes
His latest album “Holding Nothing Back” has been out for awhile… though I thought it was worth mentioning…
Jeremy Riddle
Recently released his new album “Full Attention“. Personally, I think he sounds a lot like Shane and Shane. I really enjoy how he combines a choir and distinct sound into many of his songs.
Music News-Part 1

Hillsong United
Hillsong United has finally released “All of the Above” in the US. Now good luck on finding the CD+bonus DVD (For some reason stores only have the CD) Personally, I would buy the CD and start rocking out!…everything on the DVD is pretty much on YouTube anyways. But if your absolutely desperate for the bonus DVD I would order it from Australia. Now I have had the album for quite sometime…months before it was released in the US, and I must confess this album is unbelievable…so get it.
Also, Hillsong will be releasing “Saviour King” sometime in July. Only reson I mention this is because they did do a couple songs from United’s “All of the Above“. I think its interesting to hear the different ways they play the same song.
David Crowder Band
The anticipation! Other then a new band member and a picture theres not much to be heard… Check the story out at Davids Xanga. Though i did find a YouTube clip with some poor quality concert recoding. It doesn’t quench much, but it gives you a taste. I’m excited, its going to be a great album…

All of the Above LIVE
Published May 11, 2007 Christian , Church , God , Hillsong United , Music , Worship 1 CommentIts a beautiful thing to listen to the new Hillsong United album… But for those who hunger for a little more… I have captured “Hossana”, “Solution”, and “Savior King” directly from the DVD at 320 kbps. (Yes, its not perfect quality, but I am satisfied) So enjoy getting a tast of Hillsong United…Live…
Having a friend who ordered the CD from Australia helps too.
Make sure you buy “All of the Above” when it is finally released in America…support.

I was watching 722, the series “React To Extreme Poverty” and was captivated by the first song on the set list. Psalm 126 by Charlie Hall led by Kristian Stanfill. It’s so cool when artist take an old song and make it fresh.
To keep it short: What I love most about this song is that the lyrics are straight from scripture. It’s so awesome to hold the Word of God and sing strait from the Psalms! You can’t get any better then that…
I also really love the tag Kristian Stanfill added in there…
“Teach our hearts to love, what You love
Lead our feet to go, where You go
This life is Yours to use, cause
You have done great things for us!”
Kristian Stanfill-Worship

Krisitian Stanfill is truly a passionate worshiper. He is just an awesome guy. When I watch him, he is constantly pouring everything out and giving God the highest of his praise. I was watching 722 and he played Inside Out by Hillsong United. He didn’t just play this song…he sang out using every breath and bone in his body! Literally this man was drenched in sweat crying out to God, “My heart, my soul, I give, to You Lord… My heart, my flesh, cries out, to You Lord” You can listen to it on audio, but watching the video really gives you a picture of what I am trying to say.
I am not trying to put Kristian Stanfill on a pedestal as some super worship leader…hes not…hes just a man. But what I love… is to see people who are worshiping with everything inside them…to a God who is above all else, glorious in every way, our eternal Savior, Christ Jesus…the only One who is truly deserving of all our praise.
So really my thought to myself is…am I worshiping God with that same passion. I should…I want to…but honestly, I usually don’t. Even though I know how great our God is… most of the time I am just caught up in my own life and desires. Worship is so much more then a few praise songs, its living a life that is constantly reflecting who Christ is, with every action, word and thought. Truly worshiping God is a living sacrifice. Everything we do, our very lives, should be an act of worship to God. There are a lot of thoughts, thinkings and scripture running through my head right now but I guess my prayer is simply stated by Romans 12:1-2.
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
I also love this verse…
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.” -John4:23
I usually don’t like to write to much… but thats whats on my heart rite now…till then…
This is a recap of the trip. Looking back it was such a wonderful experience that opened my eyes to how the rest of the world lives. The amazing thing is is that the same God lives there that lives here.
The people in Thailand are the best part. They love people and worship God with such joy and passion. I learned a lot on this trip…
You can also check out some pictures here. Video was made by Blair Skinner
Hahaha, I heard this on audio awhile ago, but never video. Pretty funny mistake…
If you have yet watched 722, your missing out. Its an awesome ministry from North Point with worship by artist Steve Fee, Kristian Stanfill, and Todd Fields. It usually has a series with different speakers for about 3 weeks. Its bold… and will tell you what you need to hear. If you cant watch the whole thing at least worship along for a few songs.
