Jesus vs. Satan-Computer Joke
Published June 23, 2007 Christian , Church , Computer , God , Random , Technology , Uncategorized 11 CommentsHa this made me laugh… (I know im a nerd)
Jesus vs Satan
Jesus and Satan have an argument as to who is the better programmer. This goes on for a few hours until they agree to hold a contest with God as the judge.
They set themselves before their computers and begin. They type furiously for several hours, lines of code streaming up the screen.
Seconds before the end, a bolt of lightning struck taking out the electricity. Moments later, the power is restored, and God announces that the contest is over. He asks Satan to show what he has come up with.
Satan is visibly upset, and cries, “I have nothing! I lost it all when the power went out.”
“Very well, then,” says God, “let us see if Jesus fared any better.”
Jesus enters a command, and the screen comes to life in vivid display, the voices of an angelic choir pour forth from the speakers.
Satan is astonished. He stutters, “But how?! I lost everything, yet
Jesus’ program is intact! How did he do it?!”
God chuckles, “Jesus saves.”

O Praise Him
Published June 13, 2007 Christian , Church , David Crowder , God , Music , Passion , Video , Worship Leave a CommentI was reading 1 Kings and about times when King Solomon would be on his knees with his hands raised to the heavens just praying and singing out to God. I watched this video to Davids classic song “O Praise Him” and it made me realize thats how we should be. Not distracted by others around us but focused on worshiping God no matter what the circumstances. Pretty sweet video…watch it :)

Music News-Part 2
Published June 5, 2007 Christian , Church , God , Music , Passion , Random , Uncategorized , Worship Leave a CommentI wish there was one site that provided everything you wanted to know about Christian music! Everything out there is so scattered and out of date…
Keep your eye on these artist…
Steve Fee
His newest album “Burn for You” is a top seller on Independent Bands.com. He’s on tour so check his site.
Kristian Stanfill
This guy is one of my favorite worship leaders. He is still yet to update his site or add any songs to his myspace. I really like the song Beautiful Jesus off his new EP entitled “Hello”. Hopefully he will release more soon…
Tim Hughes
His latest album “Holding Nothing Back” has been out for awhile… though I thought it was worth mentioning…
Jeremy Riddle
Recently released his new album “Full Attention“. Personally, I think he sounds a lot like Shane and Shane. I really enjoy how he combines a choir and distinct sound into many of his songs.
Music News-Part 1
Published June 4, 2007 Christian , Church , David Crowder , God , Guitar , Hillsong United , Music , Passion , Video , Worship 3 CommentsAlright let me show you what I got…
Hillsong United
Hillsong United has finally released “All of the Above” in the US. Now good luck on finding the CD+bonus DVD (For some reason stores only have the CD) Personally, I would buy the CD and start rocking out!…everything on the DVD is pretty much on YouTube anyways. But if your absolutely desperate for the bonus DVD I would order it from Australia. Now I have had the album for quite sometime…months before it was released in the US, and I must confess this album is unbelievable…so get it.
Also, Hillsong will be releasing “Saviour King” sometime in July. Only reson I mention this is because they did do a couple songs from United’s “All of the Above“. I think its interesting to hear the different ways they play the same song.
David Crowder Band
The anticipation! Other then a new band member and a picture theres not much to be heard… Check the story out at Davids Xanga. Though i did find a YouTube clip with some poor quality concert recoding. It doesn’t quench much, but it gives you a taste. I’m excited, its going to be a great album…
Hillsong United Concert…

Hillsong United Concert
Published June 4, 2007 Christian , Church , God , Hillsong United , Music , Passion , Worship 24 CommentsIts been awhile since I have posted…but a lot has happened in the tech world. (I realize this news will be a few days old) Let me give you what I have and some thoughts…
Microsoft launched a multitouch surface computing device. This rite here will blow your mind. It is by far the most incredible piece of technology out. This I believe is the future…the possibilities are truly endless. Granted, it has a price tag of somewhere around 10 grand and is mainly targeted for major companies, but I believe it will find itself within all our living rooms in the next 10 years. The videos really justify any words I can say so check them out at

It is official… June 29. What else must I say? Its going to revolutionize the way we look at cell phones. Apple just released 3 new iPhone commercials that are quite clever. I hope I can get one…
MacBook Pro
This is personally the biggest thing I really care about. I have been following closely to when they are going to release the new MacBook Pros. As I am currently running on a dieing 5 year old Dell Inspiron 5150. Shes done good and had a good life…but its time to move on.
Now sources say it will be released June 5th…or maybe at the WWDC. But who knows with Apple? Most importantly I hope it will be a major update… not like the minor refurbish done on the MacBooks. A slim design with an LED backlight and Santa Rosa chipset would be beautiful. A Blue Ray drive would be nice too… but thats really pushing it :) The time is coming so all i can do is wait and see…
I get most of my information from Mac Rumors. This site should defiantly be at the top of your bookmark list.
So much in life happening! But i have lots of stuff I want to share…give some time
